Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is placed in the lightweight compact Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) section of the indian market, which is a new way of the organization. Maruti has created popularity in market with the release of known brands like Swift, Ritz, Alto and Dzire.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will face a lots of competitors from other well established players like Mahindra Xylo and Toyota Innova. However, it is considered that the organization will have amazing market way of this car, as it is making introduction in a new segment.
According to Mayank Pareek, Managing Executive Officer- Sales and Marketing at Maruti, "Ertiga's first focus is India. Later on, we may look at introducing the vehicle in ASEAN countries like Indonesia.”
The company has consumed the diesel and petrol variants of the model with 1.3 L DDiS and 1.4 L K-series K-14 engines, respectively. Ertiga's petrol edition will produce reasonable mileage of 16.02 kmpl, while its diesel edition would provide mileage of 20.77 kmpl. As compare to Innova and Xylo, which are 4.5 m long, Ertiga will take up smaller parking space due to its 4.2 m shape. Its three row flexi-seating option will offer enough space to 8 passengers due to the 2x3x2 structuring.
The MPV’s price is kept very aggressive in order to maintain ‘in’. For both petrol and diesel there are three versions. The beginning petrol model that is Ertiga petrol Lxiwill price Rs. 7, 00,000 and the price of Ertiga petrol Vxi Rs. 7, 50,000. If you want to go for high end petrol mode that is Ertiga petrol Zxi, you have to spend Rs. 8, 00,000.
If increase petrol price is a major problem for you than you can change on to Diesel version. Starting price for diesel Ertiga LDI is Rs. 8, 00,000. Further on it is Rs. 8, 50,000 for Ertiga diesel fuel VDI. Top end style diesel fuel ZDI is for R.s 9, 00,000.
